Tree Acre Early Years Inclusion

Tree Acre supports pupils who have been identified by IEYS as requiring more specialised support than that which is offered in Beecher Bear Nursery and Daycare. The pupils here may already have an EHCP or are likely to need one prior to moving into Reception. Places at Tree Acre will be allocated at the discretion of the IEYS, in conjunction with the headteacher. The inclusive provision will support the individual needs of pupils, but it will also allow for integration into Beecher Bear Nursery so pupils can be around peers and form relationships with other members of staff. Where possible, every attempt will be made to meet the short-term needs of pupils in Tree Acre – specialist support may be obtained to ensure pupils’ needs can be met.
